Cheryl Boglioli Designs

Living the Art Life™

WOYWW

by Cheryl 36 Comments

It’s that day of the week again.  I’ve been pretty good about being able to make time to visit everyone else’s desk too.  It may take me a few days, but I’ll get there.  I’ve got a few things on my desk today, but only a quick minute.  I just went into the room snapped a picture and am posting a quick post.

First, you can see my ATG stand that I learned how to make thanks to Ms. Voodoo Vixen.   ***THANK YOU AGAIN****   I also have a LSS project I’ve started sitting on my desk using some of that gorgeous Clothesline paper from Little Yellow Bicycle (the purple and yellow papers).   I have two cartridge boxes that need to go in the top of my closet.   I just bought those on sale at Michaels, Preserves and Nursery Rhymes.  I have synced them with my Gypsy and I store my carts and handbooks in a Snapware container rather than the boxes.  Boxes are stashed in closet until I can decide either what to do with them or repurpose them.   I also have the Purple Cows Smart Trimmer on my desk.  I like some features about this cutter, but cannot figure out how to trim precisely with it using the freestyle mouse for things like trimming photos or making specific sized cuts.  The guillotine works great and the blades on the freestyle mouse cut well once you figure out the whole pressure thing, but the ruler bars are not adjustable to make straight piece cuts, only angle cuts.   So, still not loving it, but trying to make it work for me.

Thanks for all the comments last week.  It is so much fun peeking in on everyone else’s work area, projects, stashes, and their messes and tidiness. Oh, from last week, my wipie box is just a Huggies Wipies box I picked up on sale at Target – nothing I decorated.  🙂

Well, that’s all I have time for this morning as I have to go to work now.  Wish I could stay and play today.

Thanks for stopping by.  I’ll be around later.
Cher~

Cher Thanks for dropping by.Can see you’ve got several features in your room I’d like to pinch. There’s a back story to the state of my room and I won’t bore you with the details but this has given me the impetus to get it into some sort of order.I do have a tape gun but it’s an old one and I am fed up with trying to find refills that fit it so I stuck it in a cupboard. Might give it another go if I can find it!I was very down last Wednesday and all you lovely people have given me a kick up the pants.(So down I had my knickers on inside out-always a bad sign) See you Wednesday!Hugs Betty

Hi Cheryl I’m with you on the purple cow trimmer I can never line up the freestyle, I don’t think it’s flexible enough I only use it for the guilotine and that’s only when I hzvf d lot of cutting to do. Pam

Well, I guess I’m still a blond, because I have no idea what an ATG is or where to look for it on your very neat desk.

Sorry I’m so late visiting, and on my first ever WOYWW. Unexpected company interrupted my computer time today.

now Cheryl – I had to laugh when i saw that Nick commented twice – either blogger is playing silly devils or she’s had some cucumber LOL!!!

I noticed you’d asked Voodoo Vixen about the ATG stand last week – you sure don’t mess about do you – and have made one already. Well done.

Its a lovely space you have with lots going on… thanks for the feedback on the trimmer – i have a big Carl trimmer but want as guillotine or even something a little smaller and had been looking at this one – so your write up on it has been really useful.

See – you already have the WOYWW bug – is it two or three weeks now… LOL
