Have you found yourself knitting or crocheting in the round and suddenly lost where the beginning of the row should start? I did while crocheting these half-finger gloves I am working on. After a few times, I finally grabbed a giant clip and started trying to pin my first stitch of each row so I could keep count. Then I decided the giant clip was too big and cumbersome. While looking in my findings sorter, I realized I had these larger lobster clasps that would be perfect and decided to whip up a beaded stitch holder.
All the pieces here were part of my November blogging package from Prima Bead. I was so excited when I opened this package because it was full of beads and charms of my favorite colors of turquoise and teal. I’ll have more projects to share later.
The bottom four beads were beaded onto one headpin and wire wrapped on end into a loop. I then added a another looped beaded pearl and attached this to a Prima Bead charm. Using a simple jump ring, I attached the charm directly to the lobster clasp. Now I have something pretty to keep track of my rows when I’m stitching in the round. I’m going to make some more of these stitching charms because they would be helpful when changing stitches, patterns, rows, or various other needlework projects.
I hope I’ve inspired you today to create something pretty! If you are looking for these colors and charms, you can find there at Prima Bead as well as a great variety of other beautiful beads and jewelry products.

Thanks, Nancy. It is nice to have something pretty to look at while working. And it was so easy to make, I know you could make one too.
