My LSS, Everything Scrapbook and Stamps asked me to create a mini album using this adorable American Crafts album and some fabulous paper from Little Yellow Bicycle called SweetLove. Wouldn’t this be adorable to add pictures of your children’s Valentine parties or your special Sweetheart? If you have not seen this paper in person yet, RUN to your nearest LSS and see it because a camera can never do it justice. When Michelle first gave me the paper, I was a little intimidated by it. I love a little bling, but this paper is all shimmery and some has a little metallic sheen to it. Now I am in love with SweetLove and ended up buying more of it! Of course, I had to use Cricut’s Sweetheart cartridge for this album and paper. Here are a few of the highlights inside! Please click on these images so that you can get a closer look. They are so beautiful in person.
The heart was cut from Sweethearts and the Sweetheart is from Lyrical Letters. The circle of hearts is a clear sticker from LYB SweetLove collection as are the papers.
I had to have a little pocket somewhere. 🙂
Another little pocket and some yummy Core’dinations paper.
Embossed with my Cuttlebug buddy and sanded for some more pop and then added a little bling!
Doily was cut from SweetTreats and edges were stickled!
More clear stickers really added to this album.
Aha! I finally learned how to size the paper to make that perfect loopy border using Martha Stewart Loopy Punch around the page punch.
Here is the backside of the negative from the heart on the first page. Clever and looks good. Inside is another clear sticker. The pink border page on the left is embossed Core’dinations.
There are some absolutely adorable images on these cartridges and ProvoCraft has some newly released Valentine type cartridges out also. I can’t wait to explore some more of these cuts and play with them.
Please let me know if you’ve had the chance to play with this paper yet. I’d love to see what you did with it. And if you are in my area, stop by ESS and see what else is there!
Thanks for stopping by.

Hey Cindy. Yes, I design for ESS in Lake Worth. She’s not offering this album as a class right now, but currently has all the supplies in the store needed for you to create one on your own. If she doesn’t have these particular Cricut cartridges in right now, she can get them for you. I can tell them that you would like to see this album as a class! 😉

Are you referring to ESS in Lake Worth, Florida? If so, let me know. I’d love to find out when the class is offered.
