The girls over at the Sassy Lil’ Sketches forum created a new challenge for the year. The challenge is to make all of your cards using only scraps. Well, I knew I couldn’t do that with ALL of my cards, but I do believe I could set a realistic goal of making so many cards a month out of scraps so that I will have at least 36 in 2011 from scraps. Your base doesn’t have to be scraps, but it turns out that I am using left over larger pieces to make my bases too. I’m going to really work hard this year that when I finish a layout or project, that I will take some of those scraps to make any card. The great thing about this challenge is that they will let you change your goal. So, if I really become more dedicated to completing these and actually taking pictures of them, I can increase my goal.
With that in mind, here are a few I have started this challenge with.

Those are all great cards. I think my favorite is the one with the butterfly – I like the soft colors on it.
