I’m on the 28th Team for Sassy Lil’ Sketches, so today is our team’s turn to reveal our layouts based on the sketch provided.
This was our sketch.
I decided to combine this with my other design team challenge from this month using papers from my LSS, Everything Scrapbook and Stamps. ESS provided papers by KI Memories from their Nursery Little One collection. The papers are beautiful papers. I decided to add a little humor to my design this month and highlight the new addition to my ‘craft toys’ family. My Pink Cricut went so well with the new papers. So, I took the papers provided from my ESS Design Team kit and took the Sassy sketch from above and flipped one for this double layout.
This was very clean and streamlined compared to many of my other layouts, but I liked the way it came out. It was a fun project, anyhow. And, of course, I used the Pink Journey cartridge!
I thought adding the little closeups of my Pink’s little parts was funny!
Look at her cute little feet!
I hope you can sometimes find the fun in scrapbooking too and can find ways to scrap even the little humerous things in your life.
So, make sure to visit Sassy Lil’ Sketches to see everyone else’s spin on this sketch. While you are there, I would love to see your creation using this sketch too, so please play along with us. Oh, and if you live in South Florida, you must go visit ESS. Michelle has the best store and can supply you with ALL of your scrapbooking and/or cardmaking supplies. And she’ll send you a little tweet when new items arrive in the store. If you stop in, please tell her I sent you.
Thanks for stopping by today.
