This week has been a busy week at work, so I haven’t had much crafting time. Which is good, because I haven’t had a lot of consistent work lately. Plus, I am now getting ready to go on vacation next weekend, so I may not have much time this week for any crafting either.
We are meeting our friends, Katie and Scott, in the Poconos! I CANNOT wait. ( PS. My friend Kate has a cute blog that she has just started, AND she is hugely talented, check her out here.) I have decided that I am going to take a few scrapbook supplies with me. I was debating about this back and forth, because I’m not a really good scrapbook traveler. I really like to scrap in my space with my stuff near me and I can never decide what to pack anyway. Nevertheless, I found some really cute papers that would be perfect for our trip from Little Yellow Bicycle; it’s from the traveler collection. You can see a sample here. I ordered the 6X12 album (it better be here before I leave) and am really excited about creating this album of our vacation. I will share it with you when I return and get all my pictures in. This way, I only need to pack some basics and this collection to work on and not worry about taking other pictures or papers. Just one set! I’m also going to follow Marianne’s advice about Traveling with Copics and pack some stamped images in a notebook along my Copics so that I can freely color while I’m relaxing!
Well, I need to go get another load of laundry started before I start packing some supplies and I still need to map out our trip. Hopefully, I’ll check in before I leave and maybe even while we’re on vacation, I can share some pics with you all.
