I’m so excited to be returning and teaching three classes at Angela’s Happy Stamper in Herndon, Virginia on May 20-21 during my Living The Art Life™ tour. Will you be taking part? I’d love to see you!
These are really fun mixed media art workshops where I will share my tips and techniques to help you walk away with a piece of art you’ll be proud to show others.
Here are the three classes I’ll be teaching:
First up is Face Time, a mixed media class using Powertex.
In this class, we will be making fun face-themed mixed media projects using Powertex textile hardening medium. You will create at least one Face pendant that can be turned into a necklace, brooch, or pin. In addition, you will create one mixed media chunky canvas also using faces.
Sign up for the Face Time class here.
Next is Stencil Me This, a mixed media portfolio album.
What can you do with lots of The Crafter’s Workshop stencils, paints, mists, and mediums on one of Canvas Corp’s newer 12×12 Portfolios? How about creating a super fun mixed media album? I’ll share a variety of mixed media techniques as you create an album cover and a few journal pages for the inside. I’ll also show you a few different ways to bind the pages inside!

And finally, my Altered Art Apron class.
Create your own custom Altered Art Apron. Each one will be unique as you add your own painty flair to a mixed media apron you can wear again and again with pride each time you are creative. We will be playing with DecoArt SoSoft Fabric paints, DecoArt Media, The Crafter’s Workshop stencils, Gel Press printing plates, Faber-Castell Markers, collage and more on a Canvas Corp Apron.

I can’t wait to see you in Herndon, Virginia!
