Meet Alice and Madge

I’d like you to meet my new scrappin’ buddy.   Her name is Alice.  She inspires me to use the various embellishments, bling, and flowers that I have.  
I have been looking at a Clip-It-Up organizer, but do not have the horizontal surface to put one.  I just redesigned my room to optimize my horizontal surfaces for me to craft and cut on, so I did not want to clutter that prime real estate back up.   I’ve also wanted one of those adorable wire dress forms that I’ve seen, but haven’t found one that called to me.   While shopping in Ross last week, I found Madge and thought she was unique and heard her call out to me.   So, I adopted her and gave her a new home.  

 And then in the back corner of the store, I found Alice.   She was the perfect solution to my wish list.   So, I bought some of those great Clip-It-Up clips and Alice can now hold all my pretties.   Now that I can see most everything at once, I am not only using even more of my supplies, but am also being constantly inspired by the colors and shapes.  

I just love my new scraproom friends.   Oh, and I want to share my great find too.  I have been looking for a comfy chair so that I could sit and design on my Gypsy or just catch up on my favorite blogs and relax, rather than sitting in my task chair.  This was not so easy b/c I wanted a chair large enough to be comfortable, but small enough to fit in my little corner and easy enough to be slid out of the way for access into the closet or bookshelf.    I found this chair at IKEA.  The cover is removable and washable!!   The chair base/form underneath was in the IKEA clearance section b/c it was missing the box it was packaged in.   It was a steal and fits perfectly in my room.  I just LOVE my room lately.
