I shared a peek of what I’ve been working on through my post yesterday for WOYWW. I am so excited to have received a Distrezz It All by Zutter. WOW! What a quick work this makes of distressing edges of your pages. It can give a subtle tattered edge to your page or a really distrezzed tattered edge. I had a great time playing with it to create the look I wanted for my journal. I wanted to create a blank journal to use as a crafty Idea Journal – a place to put ideas and projects that I really want to make or a list of blog projects I would like to participate with. So, the inner pages are blank other than a few inked images on some beautifully misted and inked tattered water color pages. I did make a video using the Distrezz It All and making the journal, but I’m sorry it is not of the best quality. I was playing with a different location and angle with my camcorder and couldn’t really see what I was ( or wasn’t ) recording. However, I decided not to just scratch the video, so here it is. And, you all know I can’t do anything in 10 minutes, so three videos are included. The first is using the Distrezz It All. The second one is just misting my pages with Glimmer Mist. The last one is binding my journal and showing you the completed journal. Thank you so much for taking the time to look. Still shots are included at the end of this post.
Another view of the cover! Oh so pretty Prima flower.
Oooh, I just love stamping and coloring grungeboard now. What great fun texture this adds.
I love this rabbit stamp.
More great T!m stamps on the right side and a lovely stamped image using Perfect Pearls on the left.
I truly had a lot of fun just playing with this book. Even more than I thought since I really didn’t use much patterned paper. I created this with pieces of a cardboard box and some of my daughter’s watercolor paper. So much fun to create something out of not much of anything.
Thank you for stopping by today.

Wow that is the best distressed journal I have seen in a long time. I use the cheap silicone baking sheets too, they are great for all sorts of jobs, especially cut into triangles and used to line my melt pot. Fabby videos, I may have to search out some watercolour paper today. X
