My Spring Living The Art Life™ tour starts in 3 weeks and I am so excited to be able to meet many of you along the way. April 21-24 I’ll be in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee at Stamp Escape where students will have the chance to learn the latest rubber stamping techniques in a location nestled against a beautiful Smoky Mountain backdrop.
This is your chance to spend a weekend stamping with some of the top teachers in the country and learn more about everything from Stampscapes to mixed media to Zentangle.
The workshops I’ll be teaching at Stamp Escape:
Sizzix Card Class
Put your skills on display as you create greeting cards with a selection of Framelits™ card dies from Sizzix®…Flip-It, Step-It, and Stand-It. Leave a fun-filled class with at least three different amazing cards and the knowledge of how to get the most out of these versatile Sizzix® dies. I will also demonstrate at least two other card folds.
**Please note that photos shown are examples only.
Stamped Gel-y Print Cards
Let’s create some fun cards using our Gel Press® gel printing plates as stamps. We’ll create cards using the positive and negative prints created with monoprinting. Learn how to get clean prints with your gelatin plate to create a set of greeting cards (6-8) perfect for any occasion. *Gel Press® has given me permission to use the name Gel Press® in my class.
BE HAPPY
(2 hour Class)
You will BE HAPPY making this cute tiny canvas album using products by Canvas Corp, DecoArt and The Crafter’s Workshop. You’ll learn different techniques of working with mists, paints and stencils on canvas. We will then add a little stamping and you will leave with a happy piece of art to cherish or share.
Sampler Canvas
In this class, you will use a pre-printed canvas to create a gorgeous canvas reminiscent of penny quilts. Using DecoArt Misters, canvas, paper, buttons and twine, this is a fun, easy class that will provide you the chance to make something different and out of the ordinary. This Canvas Sampler will brighten any room in your home or someone else’s.
