It’s Time for Another Vacation!

Finally!  I finished that vacation album.  This has been one of those projects that I started with great enthusiasm, but then kept setting to the side so that I could work on something else.  Nevertheless, it is complete and I am so happy with the finished album.   The album is made with Little Yellow Bicycle Traveler collection which included papers, chipboard, clear cut transparency dies, stickers, ribbons, rubons, fabric tags, brads, and misc.   I’m so glad I found this album kit, because the colors and patterns were absolutely perfect for this trip.

This is from the vacation we took in July to the Poconos.  We met our friends, the Denhams, there and had the BEST time.   I hope you enjoy the pictures here as I take you through the whole mini album.  Lots of pics.

The cover is a clear acrylic cover.  Here is is slightly opened and yo can tell where I used transparencies and rubons on the cover. 
 
Used my Cricut to cut out the Title for the first actual page.
This is a large diecut transparency.  I punched wholes and used it as another page of my album.

The branch was a Cricut cut – inked.  The marshmallow was a square and I rounded the corners and then inked and shadowed the edges to look like a marshmallow.  Mmmm yummm..
The title was an arrow from Accent Essentials.   I stretched it to be wider with my Gypsy and then welded the letters to it to represent a river. 
We had fun stopping at various diners on our trip.   We don’t have too many diners in my area. 
If on a long road trip and the HOT sign comes on, we MUST stop.

    oh wow, oh wow….You are the mini album queen….
    magoo is bowing down right now….

    This is terrific…I have always wanted to do a mini album but an too over whelmed by them…

    Your album flows so great…the front and back covers are just my favourite…I didn’t know you could put rub on’s on the acrylic…does it ever look GREAT!!!

    Can you go on vacation soon ? I would love to see another album! 🙂 🙂
