Let’s ring in the New Year.   I haven’t set any clearly defined goals yet.  Of course the standard goals have been made: become more healthy, spend more time with family, prioritize..prioritize.   I also want to set some crafty goals.  I’d love to say I will be creative everday, but I know my reality would set in during week one!  So, I will shoot for 3 x a week.  I have plenty to keep me busy because I LOVE all things that deal with paper crafting; I love stamping and coloring with my Copics, I love making 12 x 12 scrapbook pages as well as various sizes of mini albums, I love altered art, and I also love making cards.  I also plan to take better pictures and many more pictures this year – pictures of our everyday life, not just those special occassions.   To help me meet that goal, I am set up with equipment.  I have an older SLR camera that I plan to learn how to REALLY use this year.   The family also bought me a really nice point and shoot camera that I can easily carry even in my smallest purse.  I plan to start carrying that with me like I would my ID!!!   I also was blessed with a Flip camcorder for Christmas.   If I can get up enough courage, I would love to do a few tutorials to share with you.  So, please let me know if you’d like to see anything in particular and we’ll go from there.   Well, lookie there…it looks like I did just define some goals.  🙂 

One more goal that relates to being more creative on a weekly basis is to seriously work on creating cards all year long so that I always have some ‘at the ready’.   Currently, I’ve been making them as I need them and many times waiting until the last minute and then scrambling to get them done.

Speaking of cards and stamps, one of my sweet followers, Vivian is celebrating her new position on a Design Team for Magnolia Stamp Lovers Blog. Congratulations dear!  She currently has blog candy offering a few awesome stamped images of some adorable Magnolia stamps.
