Her birthday was actually yesterday, but here is the card I created for her. She loves vintage and country, so this was perfect for her. I used the Scarlet Jewel paper, ribbon and ink from PaperTrey ink. The polka dot background was from a 7Gypsies journal kit. The tickets were my T!m Holtz ticket die- cut and inked and then stamped with sentiment from Papertrey Ink. The recipe card background is a Stampin Up stamp and the text stamp and little Hen Party Post are from some new stamps I got called Poultry Party from TJ Designs. Finally, the layered jar, label, and sentiment are one of my all time favorite stamp sets and you’ll probably be seeing more. It is the Friendship Jar set from Papertrey Ink. I love drinking tea out of a mason jar and I enjoy canning my own preserves and Peach or Apple Butter. I have tried to pass this skill down to my daughter. I have jars in my studio filled with buttons and I think a simple flower arrangment in a mason jar is classic.
I have to say I absolutely love some of Papertrey’s new sets they are coming out with that also have coordinating steel dies. I was able to cut out the jar and its layers with the dies and my Big Shot. I stamped them and then shaded them with my Copics. Topped it with a little lace bow.
The inside was stamped and embossed with a stamp from Papertrey Ink’s Signature Greeting set.
Thanks for stopping by,
