Living the Art Life™

Gypsy Therapy!

by Cheryl Leave a Comment

I don’t have any pics to share today, mostly because I don’t really feel like uploading them right now. I had planned to return from my friend, LaWanda’s, house today. However, my dh came and got me last night, earlier than planned, because I’m not feeling really great. I have severe endometriosis and some months are much more painful than others. Unfortunately, this is one of those months and it came even earlier than planned. Even if I take my prescribed meds for pain, I’m then groggy and basically ‘out of it’ for at least a day.

I did have a really great time with LaWanda. We were able to do some much needed ‘catching up’ with one another. She also took me to a few scrapbook stores where I found a few things I just ‘had’ to have! 😉 And, her gracious mom hosted a stamp night and I made a few cards. Again, I’ll share some pics when I take the time to upload them.

Enough of my whining. The good news is that my Gypsy arrived yesterday and when dh came home from work to change before coming to get me, he was so thoughtful enough to open the shipping box and plug the Gypsy up to charge. Wasn’t that just too sweet? When I finally got home, it was ready for me to play with. Sadly, I was too tired and too uncomfortable to stay up any more, so I ended up going to bed after looking at it, but I have enjoyed being able to relax on the couch and become more familiar with it today. I actually enjoyed the lounge time today to play with my Gypsy – I’ll call it Gypsy therapy.

ProvoCraft definitely still has some kinks to work out, but I believe the Gypsy has great potential and will become a most cherished crafting gadget in my house! The message boards on the Cricut website have been very helpful getting this set up and updated. As I become more familiar with my Gypsy, of course I’ll share my adventures with you .

Some imaginative crafters have already come up with creative names for their Gypsy. I’m still trying to come up with a name for my Cricut Expression and my Baby Cricut. Do you have any name suggestions for all my gadget babies?

I plan to scrap this weekend and cut some designs using my Gypsy. Check back to see what I will do.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Cher~
