I’m teaching a Gel Press Workshop at Creativation. I can’t believe it’s only a few weeks away!
What is Creativation? Creativation is the annual trade show for the Craft & Hobby Industry, previously known as the CHA Winter Show. This is where all your favorite local retailers and online stores go to see “What’s New” in the industry and plan their purchases for much of the year. Many of your top Designers are there showing off their latest products and/or working, teaching workshops or doing product demonstrations in manufacturer booths all throughout the show. This year, I’m one of those Designers and look who all I get to hang out with in the Gel Press booth!

My workshop for Gel Press – Monoprinting to the Max – will be Friday afternoon when we will create this fun Passport Album by Sizzix designed by my friend, Eileen Hull. The pages are packed with fun gel print techniques. We will be playing with Gel Press plates and learning more about the Impressables. Don’t worry, there will be some brand new, never before seen stencils from The Crafter’s Workshop and paints from DecoArt for us to use as well as some fun goodies from a few other companies as well, so make sure to register for this class so you don’t miss out.
Gel Press plates are some of my favorite tools in the studio. They come in all different sizes and can be used to create so many different projects. Need to add one to your arsenal of supplies? I look forward to attending this show each year. This is where I also go to see what’s new and find brand new products to develop exciting new workshops to teach. I also get to ‘recharge’ by being around others in the industry who are as passionate as I am about crafting and art.
