As part of my LSS Design Team challenge, I had the priveledge to play with some great paper provided by Everything Scrapbook and Stamp! The paper is Christmas Past by Graphics 45. The paper is double-sided paper with a really great weight to it. The collection contains some great tags and awfully cute images.
If you live in this area or around West Palm Beach, please stop by and visit ESS. Ask the girls to show you this beautiful paper.
This is what I created with it. The first is a layout of my cute little niece, Alex. She’s not so little any longer, but I’m still catching up on my layouts! Included on this layout are unique wood flourishes by Kaiser.
The second project I made used more of this paper to alter some 2 inch binder clips. These clips can be used to hold chipboard letters as I’ve displayed or how about some holiday cards or festive holiday pictures. Of course they could be decorated to be displayed during any time of the year. To create the letters, I used thin chipboard (actually recycled cereal boxes) and covered it with cream Bazzill cardstock. I cut these on my Cricut and designed the letters using my new Gypsy. I was able to sit with the family and design these letters with corresponding shadows while watching TV. You should see some of the work some girls from the Cricut Gypsy message board are creating with their Gs! The font is Gypsy Font and is so beautiful and versatile. I added a little glitter to the edges for some holiday glitz. I thought about adding even more bling to the letters, but I really liked them as they were; simplified.
Let me know if you create any designs using this paper. I’d love to see what you do with this paper!
Thanks for stopping by. Your comments are so appreciated.
