Yep, I’m finally living my dream. I left home Saturday and will be traveling and teaching up the eastern seaboard.
Everyone got a kick out of my PACKED car! I saved room for me.
I only drove a few hours on Sunday and stopped to visit a friend in St. Augustine, Florida. It was nice to start my trip without the rush and with good fellowship, a great dinner, and a nice glass of wine.
Today was the longest part of my drive all at once. I drove from St. Augustine, FL to Richmond, VA. The roads were packed with LOTS of RV’s heading back north for the summer. I have never seen such an exodus of RVs all at once. Gas prices are high and ranged from $3.63 to over $4.00. Ummm, didn’t factor that in when I started planning this trip weeks and weeks ago. But, I’m staying positive. I did take pictures all across the way of State signs. Nothing else too exciting yet, because I didn’t want to stop much today. But you never know what I may see tomorrow. I will try to be better about taking pictures and posting of my trip and all the fabulous scrappers I get to meet along the way. I’m much better at updating my Cheryl’s Window Facebook page, so make sure to become a fan so we can stay connected on a daily basis.
And stay tuned to see where I am tomorrow and who I meet this week. You can find a schedule of my classes and where I will be in the side column to your right. My first stop is at Angela’s Happy Stamper in Reston VA. I’ll be there Tuesday and hope to meet some of you along the way.
