I’m so excited that one of my pieces was juried into the Backus Museum Annual “Best of the Best” show. Hundreds of entries were submitted and the jurors chose 125 pieces of varying media; watercolor, oils, jewelry, acrylic, pastels, and yes, encaustics! Yes, those blue cushions need to go. They are old, worn, and NOT going to work with my color palette. Each year, Art Mundo celebrates their largest fundraiser, Calendart. Each artist submits one original work of art 5 x 7. Each work is juried and 36 artists are selected. I have missed teaching on tour this year and am excited to be working on dates and workshops for 2015. I had a great time at The Collins Group Rep show. The Collins Group is a manufacturer sales representative group to the retail trade. Sizzix asked me to come and demo new dies by Tim Holtz and do a M&T with the store owners. I love the new Texture Fades with Bigz die sets he has out.
