Blog Candy Update

I had a good time shopping this weekend for scrapbook supplies.   I will admit that I was a little disappointed with the quantity of vendors and the show was rather small.   Nevertheless, the vendors that were there were anxious to get rid of product since it was the last show of the year, so they were offering unbeatable deals on many things and some were even giving stuff away.  

I was introduced to a beautiful paper line; Pink Paislee.   I don’t know how I’ve missed them before, but their paper is beautiful paper and of really great weight.  (I can’t stand flimsy paper) So, of course, I decided to share this fortunate find with you, my wonderful blog followers, and picked up a gorgeous paper kit for you to try.  This is what I’m giving away for my blog candy.   So make sure to click HERE for the details on how you can win this kit. 

I think this is a very versatile kit that will work with many seasons and is gender friendly – meaning could work with girls or boys! There are 10 pieces of single-sided PP, a set of chipboard letters and some awesome press-ons.   Some of the press-on phrases are geared to the man (or boy) in your life, but the rest will work with either.   And I figured, what they hey, we all have some guy somewhere; whether husband, boyfriend, father, brother, or son.  
While at the EXPO, I found some other great paper packs (I could build a house with paper now) and an aswesome deal on Tattered Angel Glimmer Mists.  I had two bottles before.  Wow, they are so much fun to use when you have more than two colors.   My other little excessive toy was a new tool because you know I’m the Gadget Addict.   I’ve been looking at the Zutter Dreamkuts only because of the convenience of mass producing mini albums and cutting a 12 x 12 into 6 x 12 for my cricut mats.   I put 6 x 12 and 6 x 6 pieces on my Cricut 12 x 12 mat MANY times to cut a few things at once.   Thankfully, Kim, from Scrapbooks ‘N Stickers offered me a great deal on it, so it found a way to come home with me!   Kim has some really great projects on her page, so make sure to check out her STORE and her BLOG.   She had the best make-n-takes because she rotated them throughout the weekend.
