Blog Award

I finally feel like I’m starting to get caught back up again.  Unfortunately, work will get a little busier for me over the next few weeks once more as I help cover shifts so other gals can take a much needed vacation. 

In the meantime, part of this is catching up with others’ blogs, moving back into my craft studio (out of the dining room) and taking care of catching up with my blog too.  You should all know Ms. Sheila by now from She’s A Sassy Lady.  This gal has been such an inspiration to so many and somehow ALWAYS keeps her house clean, works a full-time job, is wife, mother, grandmother, and an amazing crafter with something new and amazing to share all the time.   She has opened her blog to other amazingly talented crafters and has a blog where many gather in the morning to see what is new and find some creative inspiration.  Well, she found time to share a blog award with me.   

Now I need to pass this along, but first, I am supposed to thank the person who sent it and share 7 things about me.  So, before I go any further, “THANK YOU, SASSY LADY!” 

& 7 things about me:

1. For part of our honeymoon this last May, DH and I were remarried.  – we celebrated 15 years.
2. My love language is Quality Time.  If you want me to know you love me, make time for me.
3. I get so bored brushing my teeth.  I brush them at least twice a day, but think it’s a menial waste of time unless I’m doing something else, so I usually am cleaning up the bathroom counter top or checking email, or watching news, or anything other than standing there mindlessly brushing for 2 minutes.  I’ll waste time in other places, but for some reason, I can’t stand still and brush my teeth. 
4. I love gadgets.  I have an electronic toothbrush, instant coffee maker (Tassimo), all of the Home IRobots (except for the pool cleaner – no pool here), I-Phone, many scrapbook tools/gadgets, etc.
5. I used to be the State Chairman for Florida’s State Homeschool Group, Florida Parent Educators Association;  I was fortunate enough to travel the state and other states around the country and spoke to thousands about homeschooling.  I found that I LOVE public speaking and miss that. 
6. I want to take a vacation and travel Route 66; maybe on a motorcycle??? That’s a dream vacation that I want to take before I’m too old.  
7. I’m addicted to scrapbook supplies.  I don’t use nearly as much as I have and really need to.

I have so many blogs that I love and follow that I don’t feel fair choosing only 5, but these were the 5 that I was thinking of today while writing this post.
