My little girl just celebrated her 16th birthday. As you can tell, from this layout, I’m a little behind, but I’m working on it. This birthday layout has had me stumped for a very long time. The colors were almost impossible to work with. It was a little girl’s birthday party with a pink Cinderella cake at a fun-house with the most atrocious colors; fuscia, yellow, and teal. And to top it off, Sage wore a red shirt that day. I finally decided to simplify without matting a lot of photos and also had wonderful inspiration from the Cricut Storybook cartridge. The journaling was done with a silver glitter pen and I thought would pull out her silver crown a little. It shows up much better in person than film. Anyhow, I’m excited to be back in the photo box and working on scrapbook layouts in addition to the cards I’ve been making. Maybe I can get caught up on her photos before she marries!

The paper is Bazzill cardstock and DCWV Fun in the Sun Summer Glitter Matstack. Words are Making Memories Velvet Sayings. (I don’t know where I got the princess crown..sorry) The other embellies are cut with Storybook.
You definitely worked around the different colors to rock this layout! I really like the blingy title. I spied a pic of Kass. Oh, they were so young!
