Here is another addition to my PanPastel art journal. I’m continuing to explore the possibilities I can get out of my PanPastels and how they work with other mediums. This incorporated a PanPastel background with stamping (Tim Holtz stamps), some India ink, and a little Perfect Pearls on my butterflies. I love how the PanPastels blend together.

Me again, yes I am doing some catching up. I know I am late, but I have just started to DIVE into Art Journals. Can you recommend a brand of pan pastels? I’ve bought all sorts of things so far, this weekend is going to be my first attempt at a journal page. I can’t wait!! Funny, I bought the SAME tim holtz stamp from Paula last week to start with! hahaha Love your Journal page! I may be asking you some questions…no idea what I am doing! LOL I’m just going to wing it. I do plan on taking the She Art workshop. Love her stuff!

Thak you. Yes, I am spraying after PanPastel layers with workable fixative before adding other mediums, even another layer of PanPastel. I then finish it with a Krylon Matte finish spray.

So pretty, are you spraying over your pastels?
