This is a fun little layout I put together last night. This was my daughter taking classes for Life Guard preparation (which she decided NOT to do). She did have some fun though, and I got to hang out by the pool with some other mom’s too!! Win!! Win!!!
This was created using some paper one of the June 2010 Scarlet Lime kits. This paper was from Studio Calico Documentary collection. I added a little extra bling to it from my own stash as well.
I tore the word ‘pure’ from a printed piece of fabric that came in the kit. The rest are black AC Thickers and Cosmo Cricket Chipboard letters. The cardstock tag is Creative Imaginations. The ribbon came with the monthly kit too.
These black dots were Polka Dot rub ons from Glitz Design which also came in the kit. The Dew Drops were from my stash. I got to get a little inky playing with these. I dropped them in a bitty zip top bag and then added just a drop of Stream and a drop of Stonewashed alcohol ink and customized my own Dew Drop colors. Then, I just randomly placed them on some of the dots to look like bubbles. I saw this done on my friend, Katie’s layout she did just recently and LOVED it. It creates a really great visual and some dimension.
Hope you find some inspiration today.
Thanks for stopping by.
