This was the first time I met Julie at a CHA summer show in Chicago. This was my very first CHA and I was completely star struck. 😉 And I’m so proud (and a little jealous) of her transformation with her lifestyle changes. She’s worked hard and come a long way!
A few years have passed and I’ve had the chance to get to know her.
During my Spring 2013 Teaching Tour, I even had the privilege of spending my birthday with her in 2013….in NYC with my friend Kristin Tweedale.

And Julie invited us into her house to play! It was the best birthday ever. And while I’ll be heading back up in that area after my birthday next year, I hope to stop in and see Julie again. It would be great to get her down in Florida sometime soon too, huh?
